We believe we offer a professional and competitive service, if a company is offering a cheaper service there may be a reason why and we would recommend that you check the following points:

• Are they a removal contractors and if so they may recommend unnecessary and very expensive removal of asbestos which could cost you thousands of pounds.
• Do they have professional indemnity insurance - if not you will not be covered if they make a mistake.
• Do they charge for samples which are unnecessary and inflate the total cost of the survey. (We have seen this on a number of occasions where either inexperienced /incompetent surveyors have taken samples from materials which we could instantly identify as being non-asbestos).
• What are the qualifications and experience of the person who will carry out the survey.
• What do their reports contain and how easy are they to understand.
